Day 25. Very early start!

Up at 6 am.  Clive has his ' big day' at the hospital.  We have to be there for 7.30am.

We arrive and he is seen quickly.  He comes back to the waiting room with Gamma Rays in his blood stream.  He has to walk about and then rest off and on for 40 mins.  Then off he goes for all the testing.  I set off for breakfast and my much needed cup of coffee!  We catch up a little later when he can have a snack and drink.  He seems to be coping well.  The stress tests were not as tough as he thought they would be.  I know he has been very concerned about it all.  He then goes for an MRI scan.  They have to do it twice as his breathing pattern had changed. ( I expect he fell a sleep). By the time he comes out he is so stressed.  We have about an hour and a half break.  Then off he goes for an echograph on his heart.

We just go straight home from the hospital and he goes for a rest.  He is just exhausted.

We have dinner and watch The Wild China,  first episode.  It was a brilliant series.  I had already watched it a couple of years ago.  It's great to be able to watch it again.

I told Clive he would be a human torch when it got dark!

  2. Yes, results day today! Just waiting for him to come out of cardiologist. Then he has neurologist !

The pool area is fantastic. Often not busy. I have actually got Clive to go in for the first time yesterday. He absolutely loved it. He looked so relaxed and there were a few men in there and they ended up chatting for ages. It was good for him! I know he was worried about today! He also has been working on is computer a lot, I think it's good for him to take a break. We also now walk down the stairs from the apartment. - I had told him I did it when I go to the pool. He really is a lovely guy! He makes me laugh so much.
